Ava accidentally left her favorite polka dot blankie at her aunt's house in New Jersey, so she and mommy wrote a story about how she forgot it, then Aunt Michelle mailed it at the post office, then it went on an airplane and a mail truck, and ended up back at Ava's house!

So in the "rules" for the 365 day photo challenge, it says you're supposed to include a lot of pictures of yourself to see how you change throughout the year. However, I absolutely hate having my picture taken, so I've just been posting pictures of animals and small children instead (obvi). But today I gave in and decided to include one of boring old me...blegh.

HAPPY ALMOST BIRTHDAY EMMA! Can't believe she's gonna be 4! This is her playing with the present I got her: a purse with fake Blackberry, credit card, cash, and car keys, as well as the jewelry she's rocking in the pic. She loved it! I win! :)

Today was a rough day, including an incident involving my cats and the dogs across the hall which resulted in Sera getting super scared and confused and attacking me. Hard to believe that this sweetie in the picture could have a mean bone in his body, but when he feels threatened he claws whatever is in his reach. :( The incident also led to the picture below, which is Bella hiding in the cupboard all day...what a scaredy-cat. :P

This is Tikka (aka Tikka Malika, or Tikka Masala), the last, and most elusive, of Emma and Piper's cats. Piper put a pretty necklace on her to make her look glamorous...doesn't Tikka looked thrilled about it??? Haha.
